W & M Audio - Unbelievable Expensive Cable - Real Deal???

Please could somebody help... I'm looking to buy a HDMI cable and have been looking at a W & M Audio Signature Audiophile one on ebay... Advertised at £255...

Obviously I'm not going to pay that much, but is it worth bidding on?

I've not seen any mention of W & M in the What Hi Fi mag anywhere? I think they're German...

Ebay item number: 120189502527. One went for just over £40 last night

Does anyone have any comments?

Don't fall for it. Go for a well known brand.

I don't think it's German. I think it's a Hong Kong/Chinese brand that's trying to sound German. I would stay away too.

Could not comment on the cable because I have never tried one but I can tell you there is no such thing as "Continuous Cast Pure Single Crystal OFC". You can have an OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) conductor material or an OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) conductor material. You cannot have both because they are completely different processes! This thread really temp me back posting. My friend bought them and they were badly put together, the plugs didn't fit properly and I seen stuff made better in my daugther's play school.....stay away
