I'd like to set up a VPN between our house and my wife's office, so we can access files on the server from home. Ideally I'd also like to be able to do server maintenance remotely, e.g. modify/ add/remove user accounts, do backups, move folders around, etc., but that's a benefit not a necessity.
The server is an HP Proliant microserver running Windows Home Server 2011 with Service Pack 1. The home PCs come from a variety of sources, including home-made, and all run the latest Windows 10.
We have 150 megabit cable internet at home and at the house, so bandwidth really isn't a problem (with the old Compaq HQ a mile away as the crow flies you wouldn't expect there to be, would you?}.
Can anyone suggest a book or website that can guide me, the moron, through this process?
