Hi i've recently upgraded from a sony 1070 reciever to the 2400 model but i find i need my volume considerably higher than i did with my old reciever. I've kept the same speakers and all connections are correct and i've done auto cal several times but i need the volume on at least -15 db to get normal volume. Can anyone tell me if this is right because i worry i might run out of volume and it still won't be loud enough.

The easiest way is after calibration, add 10db (say change from -5db to +5db) on each channel. Someone on here mentioned doing this on any receiver to get a better sound regardless of volume.
