Vinyl Grooves as Art ?

Perhaps an odd idea, but my wife and I were discussing what a groove in a vinyl record actually looks like, to create such amazing sound via a little diamond on a stylus (most of the time), and the discussion then went on to what the groove might look like for a particular line, or famous note.

Still with me? Ok, how about that image as a picture in your living room or above your stereo?

Has this already crashed and burned as an idea (before I buy an electron microscope for Christmas, does someone already own such works of art, and what note/phrase would be hanging above your Michell or Rega?
