viewing distance and settings

i recently bought a new panny TH37PX80B my picture through sky+ seemed better on my old toshiba 28" crt andbody think what the correct settings should be for the best picture and best viewing distance

I have the 37PX80 with a V+ box, HDMI connection, and the SD quality varies from excellent (BBC,CH4, SKY sports) to poor (ITV football).

I sit about 8' away and could be closer for HD sources.

Picture settings are using default ECO mode with warm colour temp. Depends upon your own environment though.

Use the THX optimiser on the star wars films, makes alot of difference once set up properly.
