Viera Link problems

Just purchased Panny pz81 and panny 860 home cinema and connected via hdmi

Gone through everything in both manuals and still no luck

Any ideas????!!!

Cannot control the home cinema via the tv remote (viera link)

All settings on both the tv and home cinema are set to viera link on yet still no luck

Everytime I hit the viera link button 'feature not available'

Connected via hdmi (QED) could this be the problem??

Do I need to use pannys own hdmi??

Problem solved The QED-p HDMI cable is only 1.3 compliant

To utilise viera link the cable must be 1.3a thus conforming to the new CEC functions available on that compiant cable
