Need speaker cables to Cambridge Audio 640A V2 + 640C V2. I don't like a bright sound. More interested in the detail and the scale of sound.

Variants:

Van den Hul CS-122

Ecosse Reference CS 2.3

Which speakers are you using? It's really not down to the two components alone but a combination of the three. Copper cables would be the best option, being less revealing or bright than the silver counterpart. 322 strand cable (which I use) will do a fine job. 10m for £5.50 delivered and there are many dealers who will offer this on Ebay or the like. I used Digitalis Direct for mine and it does a fine job. However, I am loathe to suggest using cables as tone controls.

Try to audition....but if that's not possible, I think the VDH is more likely to give you what you're looking for.

Tannoy V1 and Silver High Breed Quintessence interconnect

The fact is that now stands just CS-122. But i want to replace by something more interesting. Finances are limited only. That looked Ecosse, but I hear there is no possibility. Was also a version of the Silver High Breed Quintessence speaker cables, VDH The Wind MkII.But the last 2 options are very expensive for me, but then I was not going to cable, only to replace the speakers will go through the year, probably.
