VAIO digital out?

Hi can anybody help find out if my laptop has a digital out via its 3.5mm? I have looked in the manual but there is no mention of it and I can't find a suitable spec sheet.

The model is a Sony VGN-NS20E.

If it does, you will need a suitable converter. But you're going to get way, way better sound by using an external usb dac (starting from the Fiio e7 or Nuforce uDAC2 or Arcam rDac etc upwards) or usb-coaxial converter (e.g. the M2Tech HiFace upwards)

Hi thanks for your response, I already have a USB DAC but was just curious as I don't want to be limited to USB. However you have pointed me in the right direction with usb-coaxial convertors with many options available from behringer, m2tech, mf etc.
