Urgent - Please help!

Hi

I have reserved a Panasonic TXP50S10B for £699 (Richer Sounds) and am due to pick it up later today.

I think its a great price but am not really sure:

1) Wait for the new models - will their be a huge difference in performance?Will it be worth the extra?

2) Go for the G10 for the extra £200 (but am not interested in the Freesat particularly)

any alternatives?

(I have just bought the Yamaha 2065 amp and Kef 5005 speakers with an MJ Accounstics Ref 150 sub to go with it)

id defo get the g10 , the pdp panel really helps , its a great tv ..

Could be worth searching for a even cheaper price.

I recently demoed the panasonic tvs with my uncle and the best for me was the G10's great picture.

3D will come with a premium price, also bare in mind it's based on wireless technology for the glasses.

the new panasonic 3d tv range wont be out for a while , i believe april , i think they are around £2k for the 50in , the same tv without 3d , will be around £?1500ish , i think , maybe less .

they may be worth waiting for though , i certainly would ..

Hi - thought i'd let you know that i went with the 's' (richer sounds won't price match prc offer as its instore collection only deal) on the basis that in 3 yrs time 3D will be the way forward with a stable platform so possibly upgrading then. I couldn't really justify the extra for the G on that basis
