Hi everyone,
I am trying to get the best out of my kit, I believe my weak link is the br of which i am looking into small upgrade probably denon 2500 as it seems great for money and i watch the film not the extras so not really worried about bdlive etc.
I have pioneer 5090h,yamaha rx765 amp,sky hd,LG370 br
When watching blurays i put br to 1080p, dvd br to 576i hdmi setting ycbcr for both
My amp has always been on 1080p should i put this to through and leave pio to upscale,
Reason i am doubting is my old pio in daughters playroom played UP today on DVD which i struggled or think looked better than the Bluray version we played on my set up!!! Old pio is hd ready approx 4yr old lovely picture,
5090h and setup is maybe 5 months old
When i change channel tv tells me 576p when on sd is this correct
I have skyhd box put to auto so tv will upscale, but why does my amp if on straight only play 2.1 sound even on HD I have to use sound fields for surround. Sky is connected with hdmi and optical.
Sorry for so many questions hopefully someone out there will help
Thanks in advance
