Upgraded power supply for Musical Fidelity V-DAC?

I am interested in buying a Musical Fidelity V-DAC for my system. One online retailer is stating that they are out of stock until January when they say that new ones will be available along with an upgraded power supply.

I was wondering whether anyone has been able to buy one with the new power supply and how it has been upgraded. I know that there have been power supply problems with the Cambridge DACMagic, but I do not recall reading anything about such problems with the V-DAC. I guess it is worth waiting until the new ones are available.

thats interesting maybe worth asking musical fidelity themselves
