Upgrade Quandry - Amp or Speakers

Looking ahead a wee bit, not sure what to upgrade, any opinions appreciated.

Current System:

Source :Squeezebox + Beresford 7520 (upgraded THS4032CD Op Amps)
Amp : Cambridge 640A V1
Speakers : Acoustic Energy AE109

I've sorted the source out (no need to change) and I'm very happy with the sound.

Massive soundstage, very clear very tight. Deep tight bass.
Looking further down the line I'm not sure if I should upgrade the amp or speakers to give the most benefit.

Budget around £750/800

I would like more "realism" and involvement in the sound, the only thing I feel could be bettered in my current setup.

Try a Naim Nait 5i with your other kit to see if the speakers are up to the realism and involvement you want.
