upgrade help please

Hi i have a denon dm38dab with 9.1s diamond at the point of upgrading have looked alot at the marantz cr603 has to still be a small unit in order to fit on my book shelf also to go with the marantz bx2 bronze speakers all this for 579 pounds does anyone think this is worth doing will i really hear a great difference in sound quailty?????

I used to have the DM37 with a pair of Tannoy F1 Customs (still have in a way as I sold it to my housemate), but the 603 is in a different league.

Although I've never heard the BX2's they do come well recommended with the Marantz, so definitely go have a listen if you can
