Ok guys I pretty much have it.

With the price of a LZD85, I can have a 37PX80 + that ps3(for bluray). I'm only worried because it will be a long term buy. Last few doubts are:

- At about 5/7 feet will this plama be worth it?

- Does it have a semi-mate, mate, glossy screen? will I see any kind of reflexions?

- Can HD content loose a lot to the LZD85, or does that PQ compensate the non hd-standard resolution(1024x768).

Cheers people, and thanks in advance for any help.

If you go for the 37PX80 (which is only HD-Ready), you won't need a blu-ray player because it won't be able to display blu-ray content with as much clarity as it would on a FullHD tv like the 37LZD85.

Go for the 37LZD85 + PS3 or even the 37LZD80 + PS3 if you want FullHD. Even though there are countless posts saying that you can't see the benefits of FullHD at this size, having compared them, I think you get a considerably sharper image.

I have recently purchased a TX37LZD800. HD looks amazing on it and blacks are good. I sit 8 feet away from the screen and notice on an SD feed from sky there is some pixilation. Does anyone know if this will disapear in time as you adjust to the size of the screen? (Prev 32" CRT)I have noticed a big problem with light bleeding from the backlight. It might have to go back. I am seriously condidering going for the TH37PX80 instead. Will this be better with an SD feed? and at 8ft will you notice the fact that it is only HD ready rather than Full HD with a 1080p input?

Any advice appreciated.
