Hello, maybe someone can help with a small technical question. Is it safe to connect two amplifiers to my speakers? (not biamping - just two entirely separate amplifiers). The point is I want to have a system my small kids can use, but alternatively I can use my valve amp at other times (without disconnecting and reconnecting the inputs on the speakers). Clearly the two amps would never be switched on at the same time!

Many thanks in advance!

It's safe(as long as only one is on), but how would you do it? I can't think of any way in which it would be possible...

if your speakers are biwirable you could leave in the connecting links and connect one amp to first set and second amp to second set of terminals then you wouldn't need to ever connect or reconnect anything - however as said you would kill everything if you ever accidently turned them all on
