TVs with separate media box

Hi all, first post from me so go easy!! ;-)

Trying to find which manufacturers do flatscreens in a 46" size but seperate media box for my Dad, he wants minimum intrusion, so minimal wires and wants it wallmounted. He's a Sky+ sports fan and is going to go for the HD service.

Any help much appreciated.

If you increase your spec slightly and go for a 50", go for the Pioneer KRP-500a, the best TV around bar none and it also has a separate media box (panel depth is 64mm)

I have one and the picture is exceptional, especially for movies and sports. You better hurry though, they are now in limited supply as Pioneer pulled out of the TV market earlier this year.

Thanks very much for your input, I noticed the seperate media box on these myself, but have no experience whatsoever.

A quick internet search has thrown up a lot of fans and fanastic reviews, so I'll put it to my Dad (distance to the screen isn't the greatest, I think 46" is actually pushing it) and see if we can see it up close and demo one.
