Hello all,
Is it just me that finds the location of television connectors at the back in very odd loactions? Locations that in real world use end up being impractical and illogical when trying to connect to other AV devices.
The new Sony shown this week, the KDL-32W706B has the ethernet port right slap bang in the middle of the TV rear panel. If you have this TV wall mounted and need to remove this for any testing reason, it would be a right roayl pain! Our Panasonic TX-P50VT30 has very difficult to reach USB ports and other connectors, especially as it is wall mounted.
Hence my question... I wonder who can point these companies/designers to make a more user friendly TV port interface. Perhaps Apple will again lead the way if their mythical TV appears! I'd appreciate to know if I am the only one who finds this frustrating.
