Hi,

I have the above vcr/dvd/hdd recorder which was purchased to copy old vsh tapes straight to dvd and also old camcorder tapes to dvd. I have a HD cam now that uses component video. I'm trying to use this recorder to burn what's on the HD cam to DVD. Basically I want to connect the camera to the recorder but the recorder doesn't have component. So I was wondering if I could somehow convert the component to scart?

there are 2 scarts one for output to tv and the other is input. Is there some sort of adapter where i can plug the HD cam component cables into and then to the input of the recorder?

can someone help me please... in short how do i connect the HD cam to the recorder which as no component output!
