To buy or not 2 buy. I have a full sony ( QS ) stacking system, bout 6 years old, with floor standing warfdale pacific speakers + warfdale rears, a/s sub and an eltax centre. I love my system, problem being is that i am moving and req' something which sounds as good or better, but more importantly smaller. My bro has said i could buy his old bose lifestyle 18 surround sound set up from him for bout £400, this lacks an hdmi connection. Would i get similar performance from one of the magazines featured home cinema kits inc blueray. ?????? need help.

For £400, you won't get a better system than Bose, unless you look at second hand stuff.
