Cambridge has announced that Tidal integration is coming soon to their CXN and 851N streamers.

I don't own Cambridge products, but some people may be interested.

They might be more interested when it actually arrives.... ;-)

I hope they're coding really fast, before Tidal goes under :D

From what I’ve been reading tidal might get sucked up by bigger players because streaming is a numbers game, and the bigger the market more likely to make money, with all that going out in royalties. I hope it does get sucked up,if it’s going under as my cyrus streamer only does tidal as a service, which Cyrus added about 18 months ago ( I had to take it to the dealer for a firmware update).

From the title of the thread I was imagining jay z on the top of a bus driving by the university.

I tried streaming for about a year with Quboz, who are excellent for classical. For a while I was hooked and wondered why I had spent so much money over the years on CD's. However, after a while I just got fed up with having to listen via my ipad, constantly flicking the pages and listening to little bits of music and never really switching off or relaxing. It was great as a library, but all I kept doing was browsing. So I cancelled my subscription. Also, I don't always have a great internet connection, so there were dropout issues. Now, I listen via FM radio, my collection of CD's (around 500, which is enough) and chromecast audio for BBC programmes via catchup radio. This is more than enough. I also buy about, on average, one CD a month. I find Box-Sets particular good value, sometimes working out as only £1 a CD. There is only so much music you can listen to.
