Greetings from Vegas!

I know several of you have been musing about when an HD version of the THX Optimizer set-up system would be available. Well, i don't have a date, or indeed details of the first title it will appear on, but THX has confirmed a Blu-ray version is on its way.

Why the delay? Well, as you can see from this news, they've been rather busy on something rather larger-scale....

So, should it be used for a different purpose - hd - rather than general tv optimization, or is it basically the same thing which just happens to be available on bluray disks aswell now?

Well if you're watching a Blu-ray, you're going to be on an HD set anyway!

To be honest they were pretty vague about it at this stage - other than there being more/different set-up patterns. I"ll be speaking to them about it more over the next few weeks, so will keep you all updated...ÿ

Ah OK, cheers.

Still getting used to the home cinema side of things (it has been very much second to stereo music so far, for me, an im not that good with that lol!), and am not sure what its all about.

Ditto! Funny thing is I have a technical background and I still struggle!?
