And presumably frequency. Although I have concerns such as adequate volume, bass response, bearing design, membrane mass, desirability of omnis, the idea of an open frame speaker of such low profile does appeal. My scepticism would no doubt diminish after hearing one. I wish you much success & some financial reward from your design.

I assume that it oscillates back and forth thousands of times per second when playing music?

Is it dangerous to touch as it must be moving very fast if this is the case?

I wish you the best of luck with this new speaker design. It's a very interesting concept and hopefully I'll get the chance to hear it for myself one day.
