Connect 1 HDMI cable from your player to AV receiver, and the other from player to TV. In player's settings, choose audio output for AVR and video output to TV.
Master audio for me. *smile*. My setup is looking good!bigboss said:gel said:Cheers BB, I have got pcm instead of master audio at the moment!bigboss said:Nice deal! *good*

That's fine as well. You can experiment with setting your Samsung to "bistream" in audio options if you want to see "Master Audio" on your AVR.
Master audio much superior for me at the same volume. The sound on this Samsung is slightly louder than the Panasonic on same volume too. Just like my Pioneer this Samsung.bigboss said:No harm experimenting, but I will be surprised if you notice a difference between PCM and Master Audio. Some people say PCM is superior, but I haven't noticed any difference.

Perfect, really good. LG's do 3D really well as BB says. Passive all the way. Been watching my Guns N Roses Blu-Ray in 3D and Metallica Through The Never 3D all good and pretty simple to setup thanks to BB and me! *smile*Series1boy said:How you finding 3d? Passive 3D as in gel's TV is much more comfortable to watch as compared to active 3D.
Yes. If your glasses need batteries or charging, they're active. The argument is that active 3D displays full resolution whereas passive halves it. What's the point of full resolution if you're not going to watch it?Series1boy said:bigboss said:Series1boy said:How you finding 3d? I can't watch it because I get headaches after 5 mins

are our VT's active 3d?
Mine was a Wharfedale DVD player from Tesco for about £125! It was multi region too with a modification code. Loved it too!Series1boy said:My first DVD player was a Samsung 709 back in 1999/2000. It was a great player!

*good*. Yep, that's what you did with the Wharfedale, typing in some code. *smile*Series1boy said:
The picture shows but the 3D effects have stopped. No things coming out of the screen and no depth to the picture. Everything is connected correctly. The TV has a 3D test but the ballons are not coming out of the screen. On Blu-Ray you can see put like I said no effects.bigboss said:What do you mean by 3D has stopped working? Does the picture show at all?

Looking at it again, and trying with the glasses on and off it seems to be working but it just doesn't seem as good as first time I played it. I think I must just be getting used to it! Cheers BB.bigboss said:If the picture shows, then the blu ray player and HDMI cable are fine. Switch everything off from the mains and on again. Try a different 3D blu ray disc. Check TV settings.
