I've been working on my system for about 2.5 years now. I moved to Micronesia for the States about 5 years ago and sold almost everything before we left. 3 years ago we finished building our house and I started over. It's just a small bungalow so I didn't have a lot of room to work with. After getting a starter set of JBL studio L's and a Denon 2808 I was not satisfied so I did some upgrading. I'm now very happy with what I have except for my Denon which I have a replacement in the mail for and my BD player which I still am looking to replace.

My current set is a Samsung 52A850, 4 JBL PT800's and a PC600 center, 2 JBL L8400 subs that I have mounted my front L/R PT800's on, an Emotiva ERC-1 CD player, Emotiva XPA-5 amp (5x200), Emotiva UPA-2 amp (2x125) for the pool speakers, Samsung BDP-1500 BD player (needs to go) and a Denon 2808 (Emotiva UMC-1 in the mail). I also just removed my old entertainment center and built a new one a few weeks ago. Once I get the UMC in I will be able to move the BD player down and get it from under the turntable.

Sorry for the mess. I'm having some trouble figuring out this image loading feature.

I always liked this system when I saw it over on AVS with what you did mounting the speakers onto the subs, though I don't think you had the 2 channel Emotiva and CD player then ? Looks tidier than ever mate. Nice one !

Thanks, once I got the wife to let me remove the old wall unit it took some time to figure out the design I wanted. Once I did it was fun changing the look and I also got my center in a better spot which has improved the SQ some. I still need room treatments something fierce with all the concrete.

Now I just need to figure out what to do with all the music and movies. They need to go somewhere and right now are stacked on the guest bed. 🙁

I don't share most of this stuff with my wife but I did show her the pics of your setup from AVS to help me convince her to go with a cleaner look. She's a country girl at heart and likes all the rubbish, I mean stuff out but your pictures helped sway her so thanks. 😉
