There seems to be alot of interest in this album, so to avoid hijacking the other thread, thought I'd start this. The question I have is this...the delux edition of the album contains a second disc with a description from Amazon that says...'This special edition also includes a mix of the album in 3D60, which simulates surround sound without the need for special equipment. '
This obviously means without the need for extra speakers in a surround sound set-up, but then why has the second disc got a different overall time listing for it compared to the first standard one ? Has there been extra effects or elements added to the overall track to create a 3D effect? I personally can't find any difference, but it is relatively new disc to me.
I must admit tho, that I tend to find myself listening to the 3D60 version more than the other, not sure why yet, but must think it sounds slightly better in stereo...anyone else any opinion on this or found any significant difference in the 2 versions ?
