Often wondered about the name.... something to do with the sweet spot in listening?

I adore my Triangle speakers. I don't think there are any weak points about the Titus EZ (apart from obviously deep bass being impossible because of size) but if I had to pick one stand out feature it would be the delicate almost ethereal quality to the upper-mids and treble.
What would be your stand out feature of your new speakers? Obviously, early days as you said so maybe you'd want to answer after a few weeks. 😆

very early days just yet, and Only listening at a low level at the moment , but the Clean , clear detail is the most noticeable improvement.

Very nice, enjoy!
I am accomodating my new Australes, very different from the sound of Aria (906 in my case).

They are very beautiful looking speakers. Very tall too at 1.3m!

I'd be really interested to hear these on the end of my Sugden. Shame there's no stockists other than where you got them. RS still don't seem to have any.

I think it’s only a matter of time before RS get them in stock. Definitely worth checking out once they have them. I’m still playing around with position, and listening for improvements. Triangle recommends 100 hours run in, so I’m being patient. 😊

I would suspect RD are unlikely to get these speakers in. Other sources might be required.

The Esprit line are also very hard to find at the main high street retailers. I don't know if the brand has a distribution problem but it makes me think the usual retailers are reluctant to carry them, most of their customers being uncomfortable with stepping outside the B&W, MA, Kef, Dali zone! But part of me feels happy about this state of affairs, hoping that Triangle stays a small, quality operation.

It would appear there are only about four retailers in the UK, which is perhaps understandable bit French speakers of limited desirability.

I hope it is ok to mention here. I started with 3050i and Y AS701 as my first setup, love the 3050i, then 2 years after I tested intensively Borea BR09 (meant for large spaces, otherwise stick to 08) and decided to go blindly and directly for Australe EZ 😀 Current amplification Y RN803D.

how are you finding the synergy between the triangle and Yamaha?

I am attached to RN803D as it is such a complete package for the price, could only compare to other basic Denons (no match). Also coming from 3050i that are somehow towards open/ bright, therefore probably I am used to such character. Anyway, absolutely more than decent combo of Y plus Triangle Australe) open presentation, clear, including for low volume (unlike Borea BR09), nothing weird or funny, bass still warming up but showing strong signs already. I think Y is a safe bet for most speakers, though probably not a very top one.

I also have a Denon Pma600ne, no good except with other basic gear like Pylon Audio Pearl 20. Sorry 🙄

I am not sure that the disparity between Rn803 and Australe is what makes pma 600 sound bad but have a nice wk

I have a pma 800ne and it sounds very good, a natural even-handed sound with plenty of punch. I'm curious, though, why you would pair quite such high end speakers with that Yamaha receiver.

We all have to live with the constraints of our living spaces. My speakers are not ideally placed by conventional standards, one is quite close to a side wall of a chimney breast and the other is more or less in an alcove but they are about 18 inches from the wall behind them and they don't seem to mind. The sound is blooming great!

I’m about 20 hours in now, the speakers are opening up nicely, treble is calming, bass is increasing, I seem to have them in the right position (mostly) , just minor tweaking, but slowly getting there.
