The car we bought last year, now ten years old, passed it's first MOT with us, with not even so much as an advisory.

After years of adventure style bikes, I got a cruiser. A Morbidelli C1002V. Designed in Italy, put together in China, with parts from Germany, Japan and China. It is part of the Benelli, Keway group that is also part of a group that includes Volvo and Lotus. I have had it coming on a year, it has been reliable and run through a winter with no sign of any corrosion.

That is a good looking bike - futuristic but not too way out!
What capacity is it? I assume it is water cooled in spite of the finning on the cylinders and heads?

My car went in the garage today fist time in a long time for repair .Rear brake calliper sticking.
did the same thing last year one pad was worn down the other was fine.Noticed one rear wheel covered in brake dust and noticed it was stuck again.
she's a old gal 2007 BMW over a 1000 k on the clock still drives like new .
£400 for new calliper new pads and new fluid .Shes going in the garage now after this.Been driving my newer 2018 Bmw petrol consumption is much better i will miss her .
never been so attached to a car before.

Forgot to add my boileris on the way out ,heat exchange has a water leak .New heat exchange £700 plus labour🙈. Now my cordless car pump wont work .

My god they do come in 3s.

Something google searches will not reveal, is the difference the modes make. In normal it potters about with easily enough grunt to keep with the traffic. In sport it will try to rip your arms off when accelerating. The only other vehicle I have ever driven where a change of mode makes such a difference, is my son's MG3 Hybrid. Carwow did a 0-60 of 6.7 seconds in sport, when MG only claim 8 seconds.

I am now a fan of Chinese (with European design and R&D influence) vehicles.

Yes, I think a lot of the Chinese stuff has made huge strides in quality of materials and manufacture over the last decade or so and as you say, with an awful lot of boxes marked "Designed in the UK/Grmany etc." with the inference that it was actually made elsewhere! Of course there is also an awful lot of cheap and nasty crap produced there.

It is very nice to have that extra grunt when needed - my Kona N is supposed to do a 0-60 in about 5.6 secs I believe, with launch control enabled though I only tried it once and it was very impressive but won't bother again as I have too much mechanical sympathy for the clutches in the DCT gearbox even though they are running in oil (wet) and the front tyres! Even in normal mode it squashes you back into the seat if you go a bit heavy on the loud pedal 😳

I wont go EV if i can help it most of the parts are not available insurance companies write them off for ridiculous reasons .
got my BM back today £416 shes gone in the garage shes getting old like me .

Ive had a 2018 plate sitting in the garage with 2000 miles on it bought it cheap before covid shes going to have to work for me now.
