Many thanks to Humax for fixing the recording issues of the additional BBC Olympic channels with the freesat HD boxes, it now works a treat :clap: .

I just wish the bbc would stop the boom every time they do an instant replay, I may have to turn the sub off for the duration of the Olympics :silenced: .

Just a shame nobody (it seems) at the BBC, Freesat or Humax thought to test it before the Olympics started.

The streams were being tested off-EPG for weeks before the Olympics started, and they had similar recording issues when 4HD launched on Freesat (though that was resolved at the broadcast end) so the issue wasn't unprecedented, and Echostar discovered it and updated their f/w before the start of the Olympics, so no excuses really.

Agreed, but at least they persisted and still provided a fix even after stating on twitter that it could not be resolved.
