Teufel 5.1 Home Cinema Speakers

Does anyone know anything about these speakers

Teufel 5.1 Home Cinema Speakers 01-0025-00-03

They are being sold on ebay for £140 which sounds a great bargain.£23 delivery and you get a 12 year garuntee!

I have heard a little bit about these speakers and all seems positive.

Anyhow if someone out there has them and wishes to share there thoughts on the great!

Hi Alan. Even though I've seen the higher end Teufels advertised and mentioned quite alot over the AV media, I've never had the chance to hear them.

Thanks for that , yes looked at that, the more I glean about teufel..the more I like them. I am also tempted by the Motiv 3. Doing a little more research this week, at the moment I am very tempted to place a order.

Hey Alan did you ever get those Kompakt 30s? I'm thinking of getting some and can't find a review anywhere.

Just hooked up yesterday a Teufel Kompakt 30 to Denon AVR1610 and Sony BDP S360, watched house of flying daggers BD and Matrix DVD, great sound and picture, bass is really great, still fiddling with setup, so far I am impressed, I am listening to Classic FM at the moment real clarity and depth to sound. I have a NAD-Mordaunt hi-fi setup so I have something decent to compare to. I was shopping on a budget and my other half wanted small speakers.

Geraldo - thanks for the info. How's it going? Still happy? I'm not looking for the best music system ever - obviously not at that money but something which is acceptable to your average person.

ive read a quick note from them.the treble sometimes might be over the top, but everything else is fine.

So the speakers are a little on the brighter side. Just match it with a warm receiver like the Denon or the Yamaha.

Could you please tell me if the teufel are bright sounding speakers to match the warm sounding denon? Is the sound crisp or bit bass heavy?
