Teac balanced turntable, why?

Maybe Ortofon are trying to offload the 2M Reds so Teac are bulk buying. Someone has to buy them.
Haha!
Hopefully anyone spending out on a balanced output turntable will tell the dealer to swap the cartridge out before purchase especially now there is actually a balanced moving magnet cartridge available...... However, you never know.
Think I would prefer a deck with nothing fitted rather than a pointless moving magnet.
Especially on a deck that's over a grand....

TN5BB which supports MC balanced output, Balanced MC transmission
In addition to ordinary RCA connectors, XLR connectors are also available for analog output. A variety of commercially available cables can be used to connect with a ( Teacc PE-505 pnono stage ) or other external phono equalizer that supports balanced XLR input.

Fully balanced you would have to fit MC cartridge or 2M Ortofon/Project

Exactly, so why not sell it with one fitted? There's only an £80 odd quid difference in cartridge pricing.
Surely they are missing the point.
