Hi Guys

I have searched high and low on this forum but want some advice from some of you more experienced!

The Teac 380 has been rated as a good system when paired with the right speakers, however it seems this system is no longer in production and appears to have been discontinued? I was looking to purchase this but have now been advised that the Denon would be a good alternative..?? Has anybody bought the Denon that can comment on its performance and with what speakers?

There are some internet retailers who are still selling the Teac but the problem is nobody has this system in-store therefore its not possible for a demo Based on the research i've done I’m more then happy to purchase the system without listening to it and then possibly purchasing some DALI Lektor to go with it. Are the Lektor 1 or Lektor 2’s a better option and what’s the difference in sound quality.

Any general advice in respect of the above two models would be most welcome.

I've got to say, if you have the space, the Richer Sounds deal of £599 for the Marantz CD6003, Marantz PM6003 and Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 will give you FAR better sound for the money. The TEAC is a decent enough mini system but it doesn't compete with the Marantz kit, or the similarly priced NAD and Rotel electronics.

Ditto, that seems a nice little deal
