It is. That pink glowing socket in top right is an optical digital out, which means you can send a good clean digital signal to on of the optical ins on a receiver such as the Yamaha, and should give you pretty good sound with a single cable from PC to amp. Note that I am talking about AV receivers specifically here, as they are blessed with plenty of digital inputs (the Yamaha we've been talking about has three) - most stereo amps don't have such facilities.
