I see these speakers are on offer at richer sounds £79 with a 6 year guarantee would they be suitable to go with my technics PG4 CD player and Nad 3020e amp in a room 15 feet by 10 feet on atacama stands ? I listen to pop electronic music omd kraftwerk etc thank you for your help

Depends on your expectations. I think think that they'll probably sound fine at lower volume levels so long as you're not expecting too much from them. Both the bass and SPL will probably be quite limited but other than that there shouldn't be any major issues.

'zackly!

The reason for the discount is probably that the V1 has been replaced by the new model, the V1i. Frankly, I like the V1 better than the V1i, as it sounds more relaxed. So as Steve says: it all depends what you expect.

The Wharfedale 9.1s are available at superfi for a similar price. I have enjoyed them.

The 9.1s are an old design now, but since their introduction many years ago have won a bucket load of awards, and kept selling in large numbers. It may well be that modern designs, including maybe the tannoys, are now better, but I think there can be no doubt the 9.1s would be a good choice for the money. If you get the tannoys, I hope you enjoy them.

Its down to you, have an audition. At least with Richers they have an exchange policy. Should be ok with your amp and room but depends what you want.

Atacama nexus stands are waiting for speakers for pop music ie Barry manilow omd kraftwerk etc not rock music thank you for your help will go up to £100
