Hi I'm toying with replacing my belkin av home cinema block with a tacima cs929 and trying a clearer audio copper-line alpha for the tv aswell to see if there's any improvement. I have read the tacima may limit amps and that componets should be plugged in a certain order from the mains cable, can anyone confirm this? Would you suggest trying the tacima for a month or so before adding the copper-line or using them both straight away ? I don't know nowt about electrics but could someone explain to me in laymens terms what the amppage limit is when they're all plugged into an extension lead, tv 10a, onk 13a, freesat 5a and blu ray 5a if that makes sense?? thanks very much

My own personal experiance of the Tacima i have everything plugged in to it with no strangling effect.

But it does not suit all amplifiers so if you can trail it all the better.

I did notice a better picture quality on my TV mainly in SD, it was that good even the wife commented, before i told her what had been done.

I have not tried any other mains leads though so i can not comment.

As to amps, it may have a 5 or even a 13 amp fuse in the plug of your device but it does'nt usually draw anywhere near that amount, i had a 13 amp fuse in my TV & replaced it with a 5 amp & its not blown any in 2 years of operation same with my DVD/HDD recorder i replaced that with a 3 Amp as the amount of Watts it uses is only around 33 so no way would it draw 13amps.

Hi

As my signature suggests I'm already using Tacima & Copper Line Alpha. Sub and Amp direct to mains plug socket is the best for me and Copper Alpha to TV, BluRay, Amp & CD.

Both great products, if i had to start somewhere Copper Line to AMP, but i'd be surprised if you didn't notice a difference after a couple of days of burn in, wherever you started
