I'm thinking in buying a wallet-friendly mains cable.

2 are my options:

-Clearer Audio Copper Line Alpha

-Merlin Tarantula MK6

Both are around the same price.

I'd like to read your experiences with these cables

What I'd like to have? deeper bass, deeper soundstage, clearer presentation, smoother sound.

The best thing to do is to find a dealer stocking both and who'll let you try them at home on a sale or return basis, i.e. with no risk to yourself. You might want to add Shunyata to your shortlist - some of the guys who believe in this kind of thing on the Steve Hoffman forum rate it highly - $99.

I like the C A Alpha+, but to be fair I haven't heard the Merlin (which also seems good).
