System Upgrade

Dear sirs, A few years ago I purchased an Onkyo TX-SR506 7.1 Channel Home Theatre Reciever, and a pair of MORDAUNT-SHORT AVANT 916i loudspeakers. I've been running these dual channel and wish to upgrade to at least 5:1 with the addition of two rear speakers and one woofer at least. Upgraing to 7:1 might be too much as my living room is not so large. Please give me your suggestions for the additional equipment. I normally visit Richer Sounds in Brighton to purchase. Include approximate prices please. Thanks in advance,DCF

would be to go back to Richer Sounds and have a chat with the ever so helpful staff ( I know as its its my local branch as well) and see what they recommend, the only problem with this is that the current range of Mordaunt Short speakers do not seem to have a matching centre or subwoofer to go with your front speakers.

A quick search for Mordaunt Short however on ebay shows quite a few options for matching centre and rear speakers at reasonable prices or to bid on.

Mezzo 5 center speaker from M-S is pretty good - I know, I've got one left over from my UK stuff..
