Lovely chairs too!

Thanks! I love the chairs (electric reclining too) but other half doesn't, can't sit close enough apparently.

Yeah well I had the bass through the front speakers and sub for films but the RS8s went boomy, so sticking with just a sub for now, with a new RXW-12 soon to fill the room a bit more.

WOW, really really nice. Looks stunning.

With a room that large haven't you thought about a projector?

I'd love to hear it when you get your 2nd sub.

JTD,

That look's really good.

I have the same speaker positioning as you.

I can remember when you was talking about having a demo for it.

Good work, I can tell you really like your home cinema.

Lovely high-end system. But can't that bed be removed and the two lovely sofas pushed further back? Looks pretty close now.

I will get a projector but I am going to wait until ultra HD projedctors become available for sensible-ish money.

Hi gel,

Yeah to be honest this whole system was shaped on this forum. Extremely pleased with it.

To be honest, at the moment, the seats are in the perfect position for me. 2.5m viewing distance and 2m from the back of the seats to the bed. I can always move the seats a bit further once I get a projector with a nice big screen!

Any other suggestions greatly appreciated!

Ok, first of all I love Monitor Audio speakers. They look stunning. And I know they sound stunning. Second of all, I'm a bit of a minimalist nut case myself, so I really love how this room has absolutely nothing in it that is not essential. Beautifully sparse room. Less is definately more. Looks very nice indeed. Congrats on a great setup!

Thanks jaxwired! If it's not electronic then it's probably not needed.......

al7478:Um...if i may be so bold and possibly inapropriate...the bed...?

My bedroom! Well when it's done. Hence the wardrobe, walk in cupboard and (not seen) the big wet-room ensuite. I will do more/better pictures as more gets completed and things get added to the system!
