Surround sound when watching TV

Happy holidays all!

I have the Sony BDV-E370 and when playing DVD's through the surround sound ( bought the whole thing as a package) the sound is fine. When im watching just regular tv through the sky hd box however the surround sound isn't on. I presume I need an additional cable? If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful

5.1 Dolby Digital will not be transmitted through HDMI from a Sky box.....you need to connect an optical lead and change the settings in the sky box set up for it to happen......

Thanks for the reply Pistol Pete. I tryed looking at the whathifi website but for that lead but kept getting an administration error and was unsure if I could post links from diffrent websites to confirm if I was looking at the correct thing. Could you possibly give me a link to one so that I don't end up looking at the wrong cable please? Also this cable, would it be going from my Sky box to my receiver?
