Right got my new system well under construction (see sig), with the imminent arrival of the Rega saturn CDP as soon as I get paid in a week, thought it was about time to expand my CD collection with some fantastically produced and well engineered CD's that will make my system shine. Am not fussed at all about genres am completely open to any suggestions.

Any views??

thanks

Two of my favourite albums at the moment are ESCM by BT - a collection of mellow house tunes, Orbitus Teranium, Flaming June and Remember being the stand out tracks for me (beautiful vocals on Remember). The other is the Dark Knight OST - bought this after watching the film and reading about the tests down within WHF - a good test of your system, but I love the dynamics of the album and the subtle shifting of moods as the album plays, from the anarchic electronic pulsing for scenes representing the Joker such as in Why So Serious? and Like a Dog Chasing Cars to the solemn melody of Harvey Two-Face, culminating in The Dark Knight which in many ways sums up the entire album - I love it!

My Chemical Romance - The Black Parade A brilliant album in it's own right but the guitar riffs and the up tempo to slow temps tunes with vast shifts in transients make this a good one to.

Well you said anything, and its the wife's OK! Robbie Williams 'Swing When You are Winning' covering the big band and Rat Pack sound is very produced indeed.
