I have Tannoy Signature Reolution DC6T floorstanders 6" bass driver which claim to go don to 35Hz. I also have a Tannoy TS12 12" Driver sub woofer and wondered what the correct way to set this up was. I suppose the true Hi fi enthusiast would suggest to turn the sub off in sterreo mode, but there is low end information down to around 25HZ where there is no way a 6" driver can reproduce!

SO do I set my mains to large and have low frequency sent to both the sub AND the mains or do I set the mains to SMALL and set my sub at a low crossover say 40Hz ??

You want your sub to overlap a bit, say 55-60Hz.

As for the driver comment, both speakers in our house (ProAc Studio 130 and Monitor Audio GR20's) both go to 25 and 22Hz at -dB respectively, with a 6.5 and 6" driver.
