Hi guys! My sub is connected to the low-level input via the sub-out of my av receiver which I think is the basic set-up for any subwoofer. I am planning to buy another cable for the high-level to be connected to the left and right channels of my av receiver simultaneously. Some say that this will boost the bass when listening to stereo mode. Is this idea true or will I still get the same bass performance with my current set-up? Cheers mates!

Hi Liujol, id say absolutely yes!! connect them with both high & low level, playing back stereo source, cds etc the bass is much more controlled & accurate as using high level is picking up the exact same signal as the main, i have my subs connected via both & they sound brilliant, i wouldnt say it actually boosts bass but it sure sounds much more musical & as ive already stated more accurate, go for it, you wont regret it!!!
