Subwoofer connection help

Hi All,

I havre had a sub sitting there for some time not used and I am thinking about seeing if I can integrate it back into my system. Its a Ruark Log Rythm and only has phono connections or a Neutrik connection but I'm not at all sure how to connect it to my Yamaha 1067 in terms of the best option.

Anyone got any ideas? There is a picutre of one here on another forum (not sure if posting links to other forums is allowed, apologies if it isn't): EDIT: REMOVED, obviously not, but a search of google images provides some pictures so you can see the connections.

Any advice appreciated.

I'm no expert but I think the neutrik is the high level connection and the phono connection is low level. Connect the low level to your Yamaha AV reciever via a phono cable. If you also have a stereo amp connect that via the neutrik. At least this is the advice i've been given. hope it helps.

Single phono lead from 'subwoofer out' on receiver to sub should suffice.

Thanks, to the red or white connection? Also I have a sub pre out and 2 sub connections on the amp, which one do you suggest?

From the pre out, single cable to the left hand (white) input on the sub
