Guys and gals, I have just got rid of my surround sound system as I have decided that stereo is for me. I have linked my Sky HD and Denon 1940 to my Dacx which to be honest sounds mint, the thing is I feel I am missing a little boom during films. I am considering purchasing a sub to fill this minor gap, the thing is I want a sub which is musical and good with films, my budget is up to 1k although i dont really want to spend this amount if a cheaper option is available? A must is that it fits my system as i do not which to change a thing at this time, see below Cheers Chris

Chris[/quote] Try out the Monitor Audio RSW12 - it is superb and the boom is floor trembling!
