Streamer connection to amp

This is a stupid question I'm afraid. How do I connect a Cambridge CXN streamer to a Naim 5i amp? I guess use phono cable and connect from the analogue out to the phono in on the amp? Do I then need to disable the preamp in the Cambridge so I can then use the volume control on the amp, sorry for being a dimwit!

Martin,

You've probably sorted it out by now but yep, CXN analogue out to any line input

of your amp. As far as I know (and you too now probably) by default this would allow volume control by your amp. CXN only needs pre-amp mode to be selected if you want to use its own volume control when connected to a power amp / powered speakers.
