I have two sets, albeit both 8 ohms and haven't had a problem. My old Dali Ikon 6 were 6 ohms and again I didn't have even the slightest hint of a problem using Arcam amps - I emailed Arcam to ask and they said it should be fine. Why don't you email the amp manufacturer and ask?
You can of course get a QED Switch box if your amp doesn't have speaker A/B switching, that's what I do now.
