required soundbar 100-240 volt 50/60hz
Subwoofers 110-240 volts 50/60hz
Total soundbar wattage 1000 watts

what do you recommend to use with it

Most items either use US or EU voltages, the former is typically quoted as 110/120v and the latter 220v. The UK is 230/240v. EU and UK are compatible (plugs aside), but US isn't compatible with either. If your gear states it will cope with anything from 110-240v, it must have circuitry able to ascertain what voltage it is receiving and adjust accordingly - which would be a new one for me. Not that that would be saying much...

It says 'universal' so it works where there is power.
In the USA it is 60 Hz/110V
In the UK 50Hz / 240V
In both cases you plug it straight in to the wall socket.

the trouble is I'm in the uk
it's American device
the soundbar power cable has 2 prongs
the subwoofer power cables has 2 prongs
so in the UK I need a converter trouble is which one to use

I'd bet the monkey house has at least one such product 👍
(Have a look at what's printed on your phone charger).

If the cables are detachable then have a look on Amazon for one that has a UK plug on the end instead of a US one.
You can also get UK to US adaptors from Amazon if you want to use the cable you have already got.
Use dedicated cables if possible as it is a better option then an adaptor.
