squeeze Box Duet Please help?

Hey I was looking at a squeezebox duet for 119, and was wondering the following:

1. What is the difference between this and my media player, Mede8er 500x2 ?

2. It says it plays music to the amp through optical, but I have optical already being used by my sky box.

3. Is it worth it?

My equipment is in my specs, so maybe someone can tell me if I should buy one.

well it is nothing like your media player. It just streams your music on a PC or NAS which has the Logitec Media server software installed.

it will also play internet radio.

I would not bother with it but if you did want a Squeeze product get the Touch.
