Speakers in small room suggestion

I have a room of 12*14ft.. I have been looking at Psb imagine x2t... It sounded amazing .. Is it a good choice.. M beginner in this field.. But i like floorstanders more than bookshelves...need is audio nirvana...(Dont we all

) .. My budget is $1500 to $2000 for speakers and amp... Will it be serious overkill for my room.. Any other better speaker suggestion?

What amp have you in mind and what sort of music do you listen to.

Also what sound you like would also give members here more of an indication of what to recommend.

Sound wise i like a more laid back sound with clear vocals.. I listen to old classics, ghazals, guitars etc but my family is big so an overall good sounding speaker would be best... I liked psb x2ts on those terms plus its huge soundstage..

The psb dealer played the nad 356bee with it ... And i liked it
