Speakers for TV

Hi, I'm new and a bit of a novice

I am looking for active/powered speakers for my TV and was leaning towards the Audioengine 2 but I then found these.

(seem to be identical from the user manual)

Does the spec on these look any good? I am short on space so I like the idea of putting the TV on top. The Audioengines don't look much more pwerful to me and are double the price.

This is my TV http://www.directtvs.co.uk/Samsung_UE46C5100QF_46_Inch_LED_TV_UE46C5100QFXXU/version.asp so whatever speakers I buy must sound better.

Budget about £150. Don't want to use an amp, would like subwoofer built in.

As a matter of interest, how did you anticipate connecting the speakers to the TV? Looking at the connections there is no ananlogue out.

look at a second hand q accoustics qtv 2.1 very good got one on my bedroom tv worth a look
