Speakers for Roksan Caspian M1 series Integrated?

I was wondering what you fellows think may be a good speaker match for the Caspian M1 integrated amp, along with the matching cd player? I would prefer floor standing speakers and a good full bottom end.

Any suggestions??

Focal speakers are a good bet - the 816 or smaller 714. Both of these provide a neutral sound with punchy bottom end at different price points. What's your budget?

I'd like to stay at $1500.00 and hopefully find used gear. That way if I want to move it, I don't take the retail hit. I'll look at those Focals, I think I have a retailer where I can audition them.

How do you think the Monitor Audio RX 6's would match up with the M1's??

Shawn. We have a pair of Ruark Prelude IIs being run by the M1. Works really well, and in 2nd hand version should be within your budget - provided you can source them where you are! HTH and good luck.

RX6 are very good speakers but you should find the Focal's offer a slightly warmer, punchier sound. Can you arrange a demonstration of with your dealer? Nothing compares to listening to the options for yourself.
